6 chamomile tea bags
1/2 cup plain yogurt
5 or more drops of lavender oil
Plastic wrap

Add tea bags to 1 Cup of boiling water and steep for 15 minutes. Remove tea bags.

Add the yogurt and lavender and mix thoroughly.

Work the mixture through your dry hair covering all strands completely and avoiding contact with the scalp as much as possible. Wrap your head with plastic wrap and tape in place. Leave on for 30 minutes then shampoo.

For Gray Hair

To bring life back to gray hair, try the following homemade hair dye recipe.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of dried sage
1/4 cup of dried rosemary
Water

Add the sage and rosemary together in 2 cups of water and simmer for 30 minutes. Turn the heat off and allow mixture to steep for two to three hours. Apply the mixture to your hair and allow to hair to dry. Shampoo.

To deepen the color repeat this process once a week until you have achieved the desired results, then once a month to maintain the color.

For Brown Hair

Walnut husks and water is a popular homemade hair dye recipe used to make brown hair darker. Just boil the husks in water for approximately 15 minutes and then strain the husks and apply the tinted liquid to your hair. It is also a popular recipe for use on gray hair.
