Effective corn removal home remedies

Foot corns are not uncommon and the easiest way to treat them is to prevent them by wearing comfortable shoes and maintaining proper foot care. However, once foot corns do appear, there are a few foot corn home remedy recipes that might help remove them.
Cut the rind from a pineapple (with some of the fruit intact) and place the fruit side against the corn; cover with gauze and tape overnight and it should fall off by the morning.

and:

Soak crumbled bread in 1/4 cup of vinegar for 1.5 hours. Place the bread over the corn and cover with gauze and tape overnight. Repeat until the corn falls off.

This article suggest using lemon peel and placing the white side against the corn. Leaving it there overnight for 7 nights is supposed to remove it. This home remedy is similar to the pineapple rind tip Renee shared so I guess the acid plays a role.

Aspirin face mask paste can also be used as a corn remedy. Crush a few Aspirins and add water to them until you get a smooth paste. Smear over the corn and wrap the foot with bandages and leave on for about 20 minutes. Wash off the area, let the foot dry and using a pumice (or file), gently remove the dead skin.

Finally, try soaking feet in tea, chamomile will do. Leave the feet in for 10-15 minutes and again, using pumice or file, scrape off the foot corn.
